Education:

Rubi earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Catholic University of America, where she built a strong foundation in structural analysis and engineering design principles.

Career:

Rubi began her career at Pepco Holdings, Inc. in Washington, DC, where she gained experience in both underground and overhead transmission engineering. During her time at Pepco, she became the 69kV Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading pilot programs, supporting maintenance initiatives, and driving continuous design improvements.

As an Underground Transmission Engineering Project Manager, Rubi coordinated cross-functional stakeholders, managed project execution, and contributed to the development and refinement of key transmission design standards. Her technical background in transmission systems, combined with her project management and stakeholder coordination experience, positions her to support USA and its customers with both engineering insight and practical field understanding.

Personal Remarks:

Rubi is currently located in Raleigh, NC. In her free time, she loves traveling and exploring diverse cultures, particularly experiencing unique foods from around the world. She also holds strong personal values rooted in her faith to God, which guide her actions and interactions both professionally and personally.
