An Electrifying Weekend at the Duke Energy Carolinas Lineman’s Rodeo 2025
This past weekend, Duke Energy Carolinas welcomed hundreds of utility professionals to the annual Lineman’s Rodeo, and what an incredible show it was! Held on April 25–26, this two-day competition and expo brings together linemen, vendors, and industry partners for friendly rivalry, hands-on demonstrations, and the latest in tools and technology.
Wade shares a friendly conversation with attendees outside the USA tent, ready to welcome visitors throughout the weekend.
Ryan Keitel chats with attendees about Hastings’ new crossarms and 50’ tel-O-pole offerings.
Our USA Tent was proudly staffed by Wade Summerlin, Ryan Keitel, Jim Cooke, Chris Rogers, and Rubi Cruz-Reyes. Between watching the live climbing and rescue competitions, they connected with both familiar faces and new colleagues, fielding questions about our services, sharing industry insights, and demoing our latest safety gear.
Over in the expo area, a big shoutout to Huskie Tools and Sherman + Reilly for joining us with their own booths. Their teams showcased cutting-edge cutting/crimping tools and cable-pulling systems respectively, sparking animated discussions on field performance and maintenance best practices.
Representative Jeff Noce ran the Huskie Tools tent; he is pictured here, chatting with some interested linemen.

We also had the pleasure of hosting some presentations on our manufacturers’ newest offerings, ranging from the brand new 50’ Tel-O-Pole from Hastings all the way to the 6-D Body Belt from Buckingham.
