Education:

Mike attended Clemson University where he earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering.

Career:

Mike started his electric utility career at Duke Energy as a summer intern student in May 2005. Mike was hired by Duke Energy full-time in May 2008 and worked there until September 2010, where he designed 44 kV, 100 kV, 230 kV, and 500 KV Transmission Line projects.

Mike went to work for South Carolina Electric and Gas (SCE&G) in 2010 in Transmission Line Engineering designing both overhead and underground transmission line projects (HPFF, HPGF, and XLPE). At SCE&G, Mike served as the Local Manager of Pineywoods Crew Quarter in Distribution Operations from October 2015 until January 2017, when Mike returned to Transmission Line Engineering as the Manager.

In May 2017, Mike went to work for a manufacturer’s representative serving the electric utility industry, and in January 2020, Mike Pridmore joined Utility Service Agency.

Personal Remarks:

Mike Pridmore lives in Chapin, SC with his wife and four kids. When not working, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, snow skiing, water skiing, and spending time with his wife and 4 kids.
